United Methodist Youth Fellowship

(UMYF)

 Sunday at 6 p.m. - Fellowship Hall

This is a social gathering of teens that love to EAT, (first priority) then engage in fun activities such as ping pong, darts, and movies. But more than this, the thread runs deep with care, concern & love for our church. They are very much aware of what the United Methodist Community Church is all about and the body of our youth assume the responsibility as any good member should. Through their fund raising they are self supporting along with contributing a $200 per year tithe back to the church. The movies they watch in the fellowship hall are on the TV they purchased through a donation received from spring cleanup work for church members. In 2006, the income of $220 from the Halloween chili cook-off was donated in full to the Intermountain Children’s Home in Helena. They participate in church worship with readings, special occasions like Easter Sunrise, child care, and special music. Camps and Convocation are also important to them. Our meetings consist of devotions, discussions, thought provoking movies, planning future events, lots of laughs & fun and always a closing blessing.
