MID-WEEK ADULT STUDY OFFERINGS

DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR? Wednesday evenings, beginning September 15. Bob Phelps, retired UM pastor, will lead the sessions which focus on selected scripture texts from a viewpoint that is unapologetically progressive. The purpose of the study will be to find new ways of allowing the Bible to speak to us. The class begins with a soup-and-supper at 5:00 p.m. and will continue to meet at the same time every week through November 17. Childcare will be provided. WOMEN IN THE WORD, Tuesday mornings, beginning September 21. Lynda Willis will lead the sessions which focus on women from the Old Testament who played a significant part in the Bible. These gals were not shrinking violets! Women AND men are invited to join in this study from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Please join us and stay for lunch afterward.
