Leaves changing color, a certain nip in the air--Fall will soon be here, and so will the annual Fall Bazaar and Luncheon at CUMC. So, mark your calendars for October 9 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and prepare your shopping lists for early Christmas gifts. Can't you just taste that delicious soup and scrumptious apple pie? The Circle of Friends invites you to get your appetites ready for a treat!

Circle of Friends will start up again and meet in the Fellowship Hall beginning Monday, September 20th at 1:00 p.m.
HONOR A LOVED ONE--PLANT A MAPLE TREE
The Trustees will be finishing the landscaping at the East end of the parking lot this fall. It will include clearing the ground, preparing the beds, applying landscape rocks and planting two maple trees. The total project will cost approximately $1,000. If you would consider contributing all or part of this amount as a memorial or gift honoring a loved one, please contact Pastor Kathy Young or Rick Trembath, Trustee Chair.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
PAINTING PARTY--Come join us and help paint the church on September 8, 9, and 10. We will meet at 9 a.m. to paint the outside walls and trim on the south side of the church. If you have any questions, contact the church office at 837-4547 or Rick at 837-6298 or 261-7519.
MISSIONS COMMITTEE--We are looking for new members who may be interested in joining the team. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Kathy or 837-4547.
CHILDREN' SUNDAY SCHOOL-- Volunteers are needed to lead Children's Sunday School for two consecutive Sundays throughout the school year. The lessons are easy to follow. It is a great way to get acquainted with the children in our church family! To offer your help, call the church office at 837-4547.
